Partnership, Sponsorship and Advertising

Partnership, sponsorship and advertising offer a tremendous opportunity for exposure of your company's products and services to Project Management decision-makers in the Kansas City area. Our 1300+ members work in a variety of industries including construction, engineering, information technology, pharmaceuticals and telecommunications, to name a few.
  • Our monthly chapter meetings are attended by up to 160 local project management professionals and are open to members and non-members alike.
  • Our monthly newsletter is circulated electronically to our entire membership and others who have asked to be on our distribution list.
  • Our chapter web site receives frequent visits from guests and members.

We offer a variety of sponsorship and advertising options, however, if you don't see an option that suits your particular needs, please feel free to contact the Director of Sponsorhsips at sponsorship@kcpmichapter.org to discuss other possibilities. Descriptions for each of the sponsorship options are presented below.

Chapter Partnership

Partnering with the Kansas City Mid-America Chapter of PMI provides the best opportunity for organizations to reach our membership.

Partnership Rewards

  • Partners are listed in the chapter newsletter which is sent bi-monthly.  The listing in the chapter newsletter is limited to 75 words and a logo.
  • Partners are listed on the Web site with a limit of 100 words, a logo and a hyperlink to the partner's Web site.
  • Partners have the ability to purchase a member directed e-mail.

Partnership Requirements

  • A partner must purchase an annual chapter sponsorship of at least a Silver level.
  • A partner will provide the content (including code if necessary) for the newsletter, Web site and e-mail marketing.

Member Directed E-mail

Once a month, a member directed e-mail may be sent to our members in the Kansas City area. The purchase of such an e-mail is as follows:

  • A partner requesting an e-mail distribution for a given month is charged $260 (this is based on charging 20 cents a name and assuming 1,300 names).
  • The e-mail's content must be provided by the vendor.
  • The e-mail would be sent in a format consistent with our e-mail distribution service.
  • The chapter is currently using StarChapter for such distributions.
