Job Duration: 6 months
This is an existing project that is a time and materials endeavor that is 6 months in. They are designing a medical device for a client. The project has been scoped and is getting ready to go to design and build of clinical units to go to testing and FDA approval.
Mid level PM, 3-5 years of Project Management experience
- Manage project plan
- Manage scope creep
- Identify and manage against project risk
- Understanding additional requirements requests
- Resource balancing
- Developing medical parts/devices a huge plus
- Light industrial product experience is ok if no medical part background
Will have a mechanical engineer and an electrical engineer here in KC and the rest of the team is in Asia.
Experience managing project teams across multiple locations is also a big plus.
Emphasis on the medical device/light industrial as the successful individual will have been a project manager in a manufacturing sector of some type of device or piece being designed and produced. Client is interested in IT project management or implementation.
