Chapter Officers are elected by a majority vote of Chapter membership online before the annual business meeting at the end of the year. The Officers serve a one year term from January 1 to December 31 of the following year. The President, with the approval of the Board, appoints members of the Nominating Committee who must be members of PMI in good standing. The Nominating Committee is chaired by the Immediate Past President. Nominating procedures are established in the Chapter By-laws. Nominations may also be made from the floor at the Chapter meeting prior to the annual business meeting.
While Board of Directors positions are demanding, they provide an opportunity to develop personal skills, team work and to participate in the continued development of our chapter. Participation also offers a way to earn points towards PMP certification. It is also a way for you to give back to the community by increasing the quality of the project management profession.
